Norwegian F-16s scramble twice to identify Russian bombers

During the first scramble two Bear Foxtrot were identified and few hours later, on the second scramble, two Blackjack's were identified, said press officer John Espen Lien from The Northern Norway Command Head quarter.

The identifications took place outside Troms and Lofoten, Northern Norway.

Last year a total of 88 Russian planes where identified during 47 separate identification missions.
